Join Us for the 3rd Annual Angus Barn Dinner!

North Carolina Agriculture – both farming and agribusiness – faces fresh challenges in 2025. We have overcome difficulties before by successfully promoting and defending our state’s interests and contributing to our country’s thriving agricultural sector – one of the most innovative in world history.

Through common-sense regulations that foster unprecedented investment in our land grant universities, we are better positioned to steward our land and resources, not only survive but to thrive. North Carolinians have what it takes to succeed and the grit to carry-on.

During our 3rd annual Angus Barn Dinner on February 6th, we are honoring two prime examples of determined grit and farm policy genius.

Our Lifetime Achievement Award is going to Jeffery Lee of Johnston County. Jeffery’s farm in Benson spans hundreds of acres, exponentially growing from the three-acre tobacco operation he started with. Jeffery understands the importance of community – working together to help each other out. He gives back by serving his community in key leadership roles and sees the need for farmers to make decisions about their future, serving organizations that enable farmers to do just that.

Our second honoree is Dr. Blake Brown, the prestigious Hugh C. Kiger Professor Chair in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics in the College of Agriculture at NCSU. Dr. Brown is this year’s recipient of the Ag Champion Award. He has been at the nexus of every farm policy debate over the past 25 years, and his valued opinion and experience is sought out by farmers, captains of industry, State, and Federal lawmakers. He is well deserving of this recognition.

We will share more about Jeffrey and Dr. Brown’s incredible contributions to the NC Ag community during the upcoming Angus Barn Dinner.

If you have not registered, we have a few seats left at this historically sold-out evening. If you are interested in sponsoring the event, please contact Todd Batchelor at todd@ncagpartnership.com.

We can’t wait to see you!
