Annual Farm Show Dinner Recap

Thank you for joining us this Saturday morning.

Thanks to each and every one of you who showed up Thursday night for our Annual Farm Show dinner.

Yet again, we sold out our venue at the Angus Barn Pavillion, bringing together hundreds of farmers, business leaders, and policymakers to celebrate the importance of farming to our great state.

Here are the individuals the NC Ag Partnership honored at our annual dinner:

Chairman Daniel recognized Faylene Whitaker as the winner of the 2024 Farmer of the Year award from the Sunbelt Ag Expo. Whitaker started her farm in 1975; today, the operation covers over 940 acres.

Many speakers, including Chairman Daniel and Commissioner Steve Troxler, recognized North Carolina Senator Brent Jackson for his role in bringing together the people necessary to start the NC Ag Partnership.

Dr. Blake Brown received the Ag Champion of Year award for his work supporting North Carolina Farmers.

Mr. Jeffery Lee received the Life Time Achievement Award for his contributions to North Carolina farmers over decades of service.

For those who were unable to make it to the dinner, we’d like to share a special video with you that highlights family farmers and the importance of the NC Ag Partnership.
