From the Campaign Trail
While Democrats on Capitol Hill squabble about the path forward with Biden after his disastrous debate performance, Sarah Taber, their nominee for NC Ag Commissioner, participated in an interview with Politico Pro, a Washington, DC publication targeted towards political insiders. Taber went out of her way to advocate for the Biden agenda and touted her plan to encourage risky farming schemes. However, what is even more damaging is her comments about the pork and poultry industry. Check them out for yourself.
That’s right. Taber said the lawsuits that put North Carolina pig farmers out of business were “successful”, and she degrades our farmers for being “nasty.”
The NC Ag Partnership promotes and defends a strong economic and regulatory climate for agricultural and rural areas to be sustainable and profitable across all sectors of agriculture.
Instead of championing these vital farmers, Taber shows them disdain. North Carolina deserves an Agriculture Commissioner who supports them. That is not Sarah Taber.
